Integrative Health for Body, Mind & Spirit
Examining the biological, psychological, and spiritual factors that shape our health outcomes.
What if the answer you're looking for requires examining all three?
My work lives at the intersection of 3 bodies of work.

The Methodology
Most approaches trace one thread — the body, or the mind, or the spirit. REALIGN™ traces all three at once. Built from years of lived experience, research, and observation, it's the lens I use to find what's actually driving your dysregulation — through the body, the nervous system, the emotional patterns, and the spiritual life. It's the backbone of every session, the foundation of the research, and eventually, the model that trains other practitioners to do this work.
-

The Private Sessions
This is where the work happens. One-on-one sessions rooted in integrative medicine and transpersonal work that meet you wherever you are. Most people arrive through a familiar door — anxiety, depression, burnout, hormonal imbalance, or something they can't quite name. The entry point doesn't matter. What matters is that we follow the thread back to where it actually started.

The Dissertation
Symptoms are messages, and the questions we ask about them shape what we're able to see. Symptoms as Messages: Toward a Meaning-Oriented Model of Physical, Emotional, and Existential Symptoms is a doctoral investigation into our current biomedical model, and what becomes possible when we orient toward a more transpersonal, compassionate, and curiosity-driven framework for understanding the human experience.

Meet Gina
Integrative Wellness Practitioner
I'm Gina Marie Boyd. My work examines the biological, psychological, and spiritual factors that shape our health outcomes, and the questions we ask about those areas of our lives shape what we're able to see.
If you've done the therapy, taken the supplements, tried the diets, and you still feel off — that's not you failing at this. It usually just means something's been treated in isolation that was never isolated to begin with. I'm not here to replace what's already working for you. I'm here to pick up where conventional medicine leaves off, with the time and space to actually look at how it all connects.
I'm not a licensed doctor or therapist, and I don't claim to be. What I bring is academic fluency across integrative medicine, transpersonal counseling, and the spiritual traditions Western medicine has long left out of the room, so you don't have to piece it together on your own.
The REALIGN™ Framework
This isn’t a program I designed in Theory. It’s the path I walked.
REALIGN™ is an accumulation of knowledge, lived experience, research, and observation that converged, over time, into a way of looking at the human being that refuses to leave any layer of them on the table.
It's built on a simple belief: nothing about you exists in isolation. What's happening in your body is talking to what's happening in your mind, which is talking to something deeper still. REALIGN™ is how I listen to all of it at once, instead of looking at one piece and hoping the rest follows.

This is the backbone of every session I hold. The foundation of my ongoing research. And, eventually, a model I hope to hand to other practitioners doing this work.

Testimonials
Here is the deal…
You’ve done the therapy. Taken the supplements. Tried the diets. And somehow, you still feel off.
That’s not a failure. It’s a sign you’ve been treating symptoms in isolation—without stepping back to see the whole system.
Now imagine this:
Your doctor, your therapist, and your spiritual director walk into a coffee shop. They swap notes on your labs, your triggers, your spiritual life—and walk out with a real plan.
That’s what it’s like working with me.

Traditional talk therapy has its place — and a good therapist can be genuinely life-changing when the timing is right. I know because I've been in therapy myself. The work I do now exists because of that foundation, not in spite of it. But therapy was never designed to address the physiology, the nervous system, the gut, or the deeper questions of meaning and identity that often sit at the root of why someone is struggling. Most therapy models also operate within a system built around diagnosis codes and symptom management — which means the focus is often on coping and management, while my work is oriented toward looking at root contributors that most models aren’t built to address.
When I zoom out and look at the whole picture — the body, the nervous system, the emotional patterns, the energetic field, the spiritual dimension — I see things that a single discipline simply can't see on its own. That's not a criticism of therapy. It's an argument for expanding what's possible.
If you're in therapy and it's working, keep going. This work sits alongside it beautifully. But if you've been in therapy for years and still feel fundamentally stuck — that's worth paying attention to.
-
Not only is it safe — it's some of the most powerful work available for people in recovery. Addiction isn't a moral failure. It's what happens when the nervous system, the emotional body, and the spirit don't have better tools. Recovery is about building those tools — and that's exactly what this work does. I'm in long-term recovery myself. I know this territory from the inside.
Sliding scale options are available for people in recovery who need them. Just ask.
-
Absolutely. This work complements conventional care — it doesn't compete with it. If you're on SSRIs, working with a psychiatrist, or seeing a therapist you love, this work sits alongside all of that. I offer context, not contradiction. A different lens on the same system.
-
Yes. I work with functional medicine doctors and can order labs directly — focusing on inflammatory markers, gut health indicators, hormonal panels, and other biomarkers that connect to mood, energy, and nervous system function. Standard labs often miss what we're looking for because they're not asking the right questions. We are.
I also work within a referral network of integrative and functional medicine practitioners — so if something comes up that requires a different kind of support, I know exactly who to send you to.
This is part of what makes the intake process different. We're not guessing. We're looking at your actual data alongside everything else your system is communicating.
-
No. This work lives outside the insurance model — and honestly that's not an accident. Insurance-driven care is designed to manage symptoms, not resolve them. It wasn't built for this kind of work and I'm not willing to let it dictate what's possible in a session.
That said — I believe this work should be accessible. Sliding scale rates are available for people in recovery or financial hardship. Group sessions are also coming.
If cost is a barrier, reach out before you assume it's a no. It might not be.
