Integrative Health for Body, Mind & Spirit
Examining the biological, psychological, and spiritual factors that shape our health outcomes.
What if the question you’re asking isn’t showing you the whole Picture?
My work takes a few different forms.

The Methodology
REALIGN™ is the whole-person methodology behind my work. Rather than assuming one explanation tells the whole story, it gives us a way to explore what’s happening across the body, mind, patterns, lifestyle, meaning and even spirituality.
Built from years of lived experience, study, research, and observation, it’s the lens I use to ask better questions, follow what becomes visible, and help people respond differently to what they find.
-

The Private Engagement
REALIGN™ is a three-month private engagement with two 90-minute sessions each month, exploring what you’re experiencing across physiology, psychology, and spirituality.
Depending on what emerges, we may draw from integrative medicine and lab work, nervous-system and pattern work, meaning and spiritual inquiry, and individualized protocols or practices — including psychedelic preparation and integration or Lucia Light when appropriate.

The Dissertation
Symptoms are messages, and the questions we ask about them shape what we're able to see. Symptoms as Messages: Toward a Meaning-Oriented Model of Physical, Emotional, and Existential Symptoms is a doctoral investigation into our current biomedical model, and what becomes possible when we orient toward a more transpersonal, compassionate, and curiosity-driven framework for understanding the human experience.

Meet Gina
Integrative HEALTH Practitioner
I'm Gina Marie Boyd. My work examines the biological, psychological, and spiritual factors that shape our health outcomes and I believe the questions we ask about those areas of our lives shape what we're able to see.
If you've done the therapy, taken the supplements, tried the diets, and you still feel off — that's not you failing at this. It usually just means something's been treated in isolation that was never isolated to begin with. I'm not here to replace what's already working for you. I'm interested in the places between disciplines—the connections that can be difficult to see when the body, mind, and larger context of a life are examined separately.
I'm not a licensed doctor or therapist, and I don't claim to be. What I bring is academic fluency across integrative medicine, transpersonal counseling, and the spiritual traditions Western medicine has long left out of the room, so you don't have to piece it together on your own.
The REALIGN™ Framework
This isn’t a program I designed in Theory. It’s the path I walked.
REALIGN™ is an accumulation of knowledge, lived experience, research, and observation that converged over time into a way of looking at the human being that refuses to leave any layer of them on the table.
It's built on a simple belief: nothing about you exists in isolation. What's happening in your body is talking to what's happening in your mind, which is talking to something deeper still. REALIGN™ is how I listen to all of it at once, instead of looking at one piece and hoping the rest follows.

This is the backbone of every session I hold, the foundation of my ongoing research and eventually a model I hope to hand to other practitioners doing this work.
Here is what we will explore.
-

PHYSIOLOGY
|
What’s happening in the body — energy, sleep, digestion, hormones, inflammation, health history, and lab work.
-

PSYCHOLOGY
|
The beliefs, behaviors, emotional responses, identity patterns, and nervous-system responses shaping your experience.
-

LIFESTYLE
|
The food, routines, relationships, environment, stressors, and daily rhythms that may be supporting you — or working against you.
-

SPIRITUALITY + MEANING
|
Questions of meaning, purpose, identity, connection, consciousness, and your relationship with something larger than yourself.
-

INTEGRATION
|
Turning what we uncover into something lived through individualized practices, protocols, altered-state work, and new ways of responding.
Testimonials
Here is the deal…
You’ve done the therapy. Taken the supplements. Tried the diets. And somehow, you still feel off.
That’s not a failure. It’s a sign you’ve been treating symptoms in isolation—without stepping back to see the whole system.
Now imagine this:
Your doctor, your therapist, and your spiritual director walk into a coffee shop. They swap notes on your labs, your triggers, your spiritual life—and walk out with a real plan.
That’s what it’s like working with me.

Some of the things people ask Most before booking.

Traditional talk therapy has its place — and a good therapist can be genuinely life-changing when the timing is right. I know because I've been in therapy myself. The work I do exists because of that foundation, not in spite of it.
But therapy doesn't typically look at lab work, physiology, gut health, nutrient status, or the broader biological factors that may be contributing to how someone feels. And many approaches don't make room for the deeper questions of meaning, spirituality, and identity that can be equally important.
My work brings those pieces together — integrative medicine, transpersonal counseling, and my own REALIGN™ methodology — to look for patterns a single lens might miss.
If you're in therapy and it's working, keep going. This work can sit alongside it beautifully.

Yes. Recovery can involve much more than simply stopping the substance or behavior. It can mean understanding what was underneath it, learning new ways of relating to difficult emotions and experiences, rebuilding a relationship with yourself, and exploring questions of identity, meaning, and purpose.
That kind of work is very much at home here.
I'm in long-term recovery myself, so I know this territory from the inside. My own experience is part of why I believe so deeply in looking beyond the behavior itself and asking what it was doing for us in the first place.
-
Absolutely. This work complements conventional care — it doesn't compete with it. If you're on SSRIs, working with a psychiatrist, or seeing a therapist you love, this work sits alongside all of that. I offer context, not contradiction. A different lens on the same system.
-
Yes. I can order lab work directly, looking at markers related to inflammation, gut health, hormones, nutrient status, thyroid function, and other biological factors that may be connected to mood, energy, and how you’re feeling.
I look at that data alongside the rest of the picture — your symptoms, history, lifestyle, patterns, and experience — rather than treating a lab result in isolation.
I’m not a licensed physician, so I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions. If something comes up that falls outside my scope, I work with and refer to functional and integrative medicine physicians who can provide the appropriate medical care.
That’s part of what makes this work different: we’re looking at your actual biology alongside everything else your system is communicating.
-
No. This work lives outside the insurance model — and honestly, that’s not an accident.
Insurance reimbursement typically requires diagnoses, billing codes, and specific definitions of medically necessary care. This work wasn’t built around those constraints. It gives us the freedom to explore the biological, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of what you’re experiencing without an insurance company determining what belongs in the room.
I’m currently working on adding HSA payment options and will update this page when they’re available.
